Getting to Know WestCoast Vitality

Who We Are

At West Coast Vitality, we support high-performing, thoughtful individuals who are ready to stop just coping and start living in a way that actually feels sustainable.

Our clients often look like they have it all together on the outside—balancing careers, families, and endless expectations. But underneath, they're carrying stress, pressure, or past experiences that are harder to shake, leaving them feeling disconnected despite all their achievements.

You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from this work. Sometimes it's about having a place where you can finally be honest, reflect deeply, and reset on your own terms.

We offer:

  • Individual therapy (in-person and online)

  • Clinical consulting

  • Speaking services and coroporate workshop facilitation

  • Intensives and retreats

Through our services, we help you reconnect with your inner clarity, your body's wisdom, and your own definition of a meaningful life. This is a place to pause, recalibrate, and remember what matters—without having to perform or prove anything.

Our Approach

At West Coast Vitality, we understand that lasting change happens when we work with both your sharp mind and the innate wisdom of your body. We believe that when we engage both our analytical brain and our instinctual/ expressive brain, we can expand our way of seeing things from a picture into a panoramic. Our approach blends clinical expertise with nervous system-informed care, designed for people who are ready to go beyond surface-level solutions.

Our methodology focuses on:

  • Building emotional resilience in high-achieving individuals

  • Developing practical skills to recognize and respond to your body's signals

  • Working through negative experiences (including sexual trauma) that are living in the body and impacting your present

  • Moving from survival patterns into sustainable ways of being

What to expect in our work together:

You won't need to manage this process—that's our job. But you'll always be at the center of it. We tailor our approach to match your pace, your goals, and your unique way of moving through the world.

This isn't about fixing what's broken; it's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that got buried under years of high performance and hypervigilance.

Whether we work together online or in our Kitsilano office, our goal is to help you move from constantly managing your life to actually living it—feeling steady, connected, and genuinely at home in your own skin.

About Rebekkah

Rebekkah Stainton is the founder and clinical director of West Coast Vitality. She's a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor based in Vancouver, BC, with over a decade of experience supporting individuals who look like they have it all together -- but feel anything but.

Rebekkah brings a depth of clinical training rooted in neuroscience, somatic therapy, and evidence-based approaches that create real, lasting change. She's particularly experienced in supporting survivors of sexual trauma and complex trauma, as well as clients navigating burnout and chronic stress.

Her approach blends warmth with directness—helping clients feel both deeply understood and gently challenged to grow. Whether you're seeking more effective ways to manage a racing mind, reconnect with your body, or process experiences you've avoided for years, she customizes therapy to meet you exactly where you are.

Rebekkah's work focuses on helping clients:

  • Break out of burnout cycles and survival patterns

  • Reconnect with their internal clarity and body wisdom

  • Process difficult experiences through nervous system-informed approaches

  • Create sustainable ways of being that don't require constant performance

In addition to her clinical work, Rebekkah is an author as well as a sought-after speaker, facilitator, and clinical supervisor, trusted for her ability to translate complex psychological concepts into tools you can actually use.

Outside the therapy room, you'll find her in the Pilates studio, running Vancouver's seawall, exploring a new neighbourhood restaurant, or planning her next travel adventure. She believes that healing doesn't mean shrinking yourself—it means reclaiming the parts of you that have been waiting for space to breathe.
